Kent Police Bike Markings

Kent Police are holding a bike marking event at Stone Recreation Ground, London Road, Stone, Kent on Friday 1st August 2025 between 11am to 3pm

Kent Police are aiming to help the public protect their bikes by giving them a unique reference number, and we will put a number on each bike brought along on the day. This unique number can then be uploaded to the relevant website ‘Bike Register - The National Cycle Database’.

The goal is that if Kent Police locate an abandoned or stolen bike, with the unique marking, we can input this into the database to return it to its rightful owner. 

Kent Police are also aiming to provide other ways residents and users of the new bike pump track can keep themselves and their property safe following an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour at the location.
